Our very enthusiastic committee have been doing spot checks and keeping an eye on our efforts with Super Troopers and Drop Everything and Dance. They had a tough job choosing a winner as everyone in St. Brigids is making such a huge effort with increasing their activity levels. The Junior winner this month is Ms Hassetts Junior Infants (Room 6) and the Senior class is Ms. O' Reilly and Ms Moore's 3rd class (Room 7). A special mention must go to Ms O Reilly and Ms Cooney for their dance efforts. They're fully embracing our new dance initiative according to our committee:-). Well done everyone. Keep up the great work.

Well done to St. Brigids on winning their first basketball game. We're delighted to have a basketball team in St. Brigids now and we wish them the best of luck with the rest of their games. The girls play basketball all the way up thrpugh the school so we have a great pool of talent to choose from by the time they get to 6th class.

What a fantastic occasion for St. Brigids today. The Gaelic Football team played the final of their Cumann na mBunscol League in Croke Park. It was a very enjoyable day for all our supporters and parents and a very special and memorable day for the players. The girls have trained so hard for the last few months and are very committed to this team. We couldn't ask for better representatives for our school both on and off the field and we are extremely proud of them. Victory was theirs yesterday after some tough disappointments last year and they deserved every bit of it. It was a wonderful display of skill and teamwork. The girls had a very convincing win and earned the cup that they brought back to the school today. Well done to all involved and to our great  supporters for all the cheering and good wishes. Thank you too for the fantastic parental support we've had all through the league. Here are some photos from today and there will be more soon.
