What is an Active School Flag?

An Active School Flag (ASF) is awarded to schools that show everyone is physically active and making improvements in the areas of Physical Education, Physical Activity and Partnerships.  We will always try to make exercise fun and interesting. As part of the Active Flag, we want everybody to join in and be as active as possible in school and at home. We need everyones help to maintain our wonderful record of activity.. 

What do we have to do?

• Have a school motto.
• Have an ASF committee involving teachers, pupils and parents.
• Raise whole school awareness.
• Plan, implement and monitor improvements
• Exercise everyday, in school and at home.
• Plan, organise and get involved in  Active School Week.
• Come up with fun and new ways to get everyone exercising.
